Porus AI: account and video permissions

Effective 24 October 2026. Version 2026-10-24-v2.

Your account

Confirm you are at least 18, agree to the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and separately consent to the account processing described here and in the Privacy Policy. These three confirmations start unchecked. Full policies open in the in-page reader. Select the confirmations, then choose Agree and create account or Accept and continue. Opening or scrolling a policy does not accept it.

We use your name where supplied, verified email, authentication identifiers and the phone required for password signup to provide and secure your account, associate your jobs with you, and send job updates. Google requires no separate Porus phone number or password. We request basic identity details, not Gmail, Drive or contacts. Google and password accounts remain separate; Microsoft is not enabled. Authentication is provided by AWS Cognito.

Each video

Confirm your rights and permissions to upload, translate and dub the video, including its music, footage and featured people. Separately authorize Porus AI and authorized staff to store and process it for English-to-Hindi dubbing using generic voices. The Acceptable Use Policy prohibits impersonation, fraud, political deepfakes, sexual content, harassment and scams.

Videos stay in private AWS S3 storage. Jobs wait in a durable backlog while the processing VM is off. A worker is being connected to the existing agent; authorized manual processing remains possible. Completion emails use your verified contact address. Anyone you share the completion link with can download without signing in. The link expires after seven days and issues a five-minute download URL. Keep it private unless you intend others to receive the video. Studio downloads remain subject to the video's availability.

Training is off. These permissions do not authorize voice cloning. Future training or cloning requires separate, specific permission and any necessary speaker verification. Refusing training must not prevent ordinary dubbing.

Review, withdrawal and records

Review the translation and audio before publishing, disclose AI generation and retain AI labels, watermarks and provenance. These reminders are not an automated quality or rights certification.

Contact legal@porus.ai for withdrawal, deletion or privacy/grievance requests. Withdrawal may stop pending processing. Retention targets, preservation exceptions and the current manual deletion process are described in the Privacy Policy. Link expiry does not itself delete the video. Records retain the verified account, policy version, canonical text, hashes, server receipt time and request evidence; they do not prove identity or third-party rights.
